wow! today was a wonderful day. haha. alright...went to school like so early in the morning...cause helping BB NP Primers to publicize Sharity Gift Box (SGB) by giving out flyers to residents ma...first time doing the publicizing...although i did warehouse, station booth and delivery before during my BB days in secondary school.
it was kind of a new experience...going from block to block...door to door at bukit panjang. my group was cluster 5...got me, jeremiah (Varda peep+GL), sharon (SGL) & ben lim (SGL)...and also led by 2 leaders. we splitted up so that our work would be more efficient. at first, me and jeremiah were pretty slack. butbutbut...after that, i decided to take it abit more seriously...cause it would be kind of a waste of time if i slacked throughout. so yea...our 2nd block...i started to talk to the residents...it was scary but once i got the hang of it...it became easier. some were nice but some were mean. some purposely don't want to open door. and bukit panjang has 1 major problem...got loads of door bells not functioning properly. some resident's homes looked really beautiful, while some looked ordinary. never go into their homes la...just look through the door ma.
had KFC for lunch...and i don't know why my apetite so small la...couldn't finish my 2 pieces of chicken. sigh...
continued with the publicizing and we ended at bout 230pm...i think. ended so much earlier than expected.
met the other SGLs and also some GLs...and soon...we found ourselves slacking and chit chatting at BPP macdonalds. but kind of got dc-ed from the conversation here and there...cause abe and jeremiah la...keep using codes and stuffs. make life difficult man.
felt that i spent the day pretty well...but don't think i will be going for next week's one...have to collect the donations leh. heavy sia. imagine inside 1 big bag got i sack of rice+canned food+biscuits+oil+soy sauce+instant noodles...can die one man. i carried before, it's a killer. lol.
